30" by 20" Project (SOLD)

This is a commissioned work on a 30" by 20" sheet of soft fibrous paper.  The three portraits in the drawing are of Solomon Burke, Charles Caldwell, and R.L. Burnside, all blues musicians.  Included in the mix are trees, planets with hitching posts, and little people traveling with their balloons.  I don't currently have the means of scanning a piece this large, so here are pictures of the drawing, both of the entire work and of various details.

Once again, the weapon of choice was a black pilot pen.

The Tippler (Pencil)

This is a pencil version of The Tippler that was posted earlier in pen.  They are, for the most part, identical, though I find the Tippler himself to be a completely different person with a completely different personality.  This piece was done per the request of a private collector.
