This is a symbol that appeared in a dream. I dreamt that I was standing in a small dive bar with only a few people left inside, sometime after midnight, holding a package bearing this symbol. I had a feeling we were all good and innocent. I turned to my right and saw a young woman wearing all black with black hair and a black veil. The symbol appeared on the veil. Smiling, I gave the package to her and said, "this must belong to you!" She smiled as well and turned to a group of women she was with, all in black, black hair, black veils, the same symbol on the veils, and said something along the lines of, "he's the one."
I felt good about this until I noticed one woman in particular by a glass door, a side door or back door. The door was closing and this woman held in her hand something shiny and orange. It resembled a small, plastic toy shoe, about the size of a baseball. Somehow this object represented me. The woman then moved the object to her face and began to bare her teeth, revealing bright white fangs. She had a hungry look of a wild and evil vampire. The women closed in all around me and a horrible fear rushed through my entire body. I started shouting as loud as I could for help, fighting my way to the door. I made it outside and struggled to reach the back of an open freight truck but woke up before I could board.
I suppose I should fear the symbol, but it was so distinct I had to paint it and see what it looked like outside of my imagination.
